What we have achieved so far
You can walk, run or cycle 'Bondi to Bush’ to help outback families in need.
If you get sick in Bondi, you’re only a 15-minute drive away from the nearest major hospital.
If you get sick in outback Australia, the nearest hospital is often hours away.
It’s staggering that in 2020, life expectancy for people living in the bush is 2 years lower than those who live in the city. Because of the lack of access to vital healthcare, families living in remote areas also have a lower chance of surviving cancer and are more likely to die by suicide.
At this unprecedented time of isolation, mental health and regular exercise are crucial and your support is now more important than ever.
You can help stand up for people in the Bush by choosing to walk, run or cycle at least 250kms – the distance between ‘Bondi to Bush’.
Over 6 weeks, you can build your steps to raise vital funds to give healthcare services to outback families. Registrations for the 2020 ‘Bondi to Bush’ challenge are closed!
